It’s hard to believe it’s almost November, I mean Movember but we’re glad it is and that means all month long raising awareness for men’s health. During Movember Red, White & Brew will be raising money for the cause at its East Mesa and downtown Prescott restaurants. $1 from each glass of red and white wine from AZ Stronghold and drafts from Four Peaks Brewing will be donated to the cause. Red, White & Brew serves scratch made American entrees along with a curated wine & beer list.
“We’ve been a strong part of the Arizona community for more than 20 years and part of being an active community member means giving back,” said Jimmy Herrera, operating partner. “We’re thrilled to help raise money for such an important cause.”
The charity has raised over $1 billion around the world to support men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is the is the most common kind of cancer in young men and 4 out o5 suicides are men. The last figure is very personal to the non-profits community ambassador Robi Hullner. “The staggering statistics about men’s suicide is alarming,” said Hullner. “My goal is to save at least one life and hopefully many more.”
