Cast your vote for the Burger Battle at Zuzu

Burger aficionados have until May 26th to cast their vote weekly for a new creation from the signature restaurant at the Hotel Valley Ho’s culinary team. For the next 8 weeks from 6 a.m.- 10 p.m. stop into Zuzu for each week’s creation priced at $19 with a side of fries or fruit. The winner will be announced on May 28th, National Hamburger Day with the winner receiving $500 and the burger to be featured on the menu in June.

Foodstock 2024 is this Saturday

A reminder that if you don’t have any plans tomorrow, Saturday April 13th the food truck festival is happening in Peoria. Read about it at the feature post from last month. 

Tax Day deals at Kona Grill and STK Steakhouse

The 2 Scottsdale restaurants are hoping to give customers some relief from having to pay taxes on Monday, April 15th. At Kona Grill enjoy 2 Kona Margaritas for just $10.40 and at STK specialty cocktails are $10.40 all day long.

Wine Girl recycles thousands of bottles

April is Earth Month and the downtown Scottsdale wine bar does its part by making sure empty wine bottles don’t make it to the landfill. They don’t use wine bottles at WG but pour from 100% recyclable stainless-steel kegs. In doing so since opening in 2020 WG has prevented over 37,000 bottles from heading to the landfill. The kegs also prevent the wines from becoming oxidized because it’s always pressurized with nitrogen keeping the wine fresh and full of flavor.
