Many have been waiting for this weekend’s popular festival at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix. The annual event starts at 11 a.m. both days and tickets are still available. Check out my featured post from October for details and link to tickets.

Veteran’s Day food & drink deals on Instagram

We honor our servicemen and women tomorrow and many local restaurants are offering discounted or free food & drink to all with valid i.d. My Instagram feed has a list of who and what these restaurants are offering as a way to say “thank you” to current & retired military personnel and first responders.

Fazoli’s hosting job fair for new Mesa location

The fast casual pizza and pasta restaurant is looking to hire enthusiastic and energetic people for their new Mesa Riverview location next Tuesday – Friday, November 14th- 17th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Positions include line cook, prep cook, cashiers, drive-thru, expo and dishwashers. There will be open interviews and those interested should come prepared to do so and bring a resume. Those that can’t meet in person can apply online. The restaurant is at 953 N. Dobson Rd. Mesa 85201.

Wine + Pie pairing at GenuWine Arizona next Thursday

The Roosevelt Row wine bar is pairing 4 wines with 4 pies just in time for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 16th from 6 – 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 each and wines poured are on sale at 20% off when purchased that night. Tickets are available for purchase here.

Order your holiday pies from Mesquite Fresh Street Mex until next Friday

The locally owned Mexican fast casual restaurant is taking order through next Friday, November 17th for traditional holiday pies. Classic festive pies include pumpkin, apple, pecan, French Silk and coconut cream will be available at all locations except the Old Town Scottsdale taco stand November 20th -22nd. All pies are $19.99 and can be ordered at their website.
