2011 Woop Woop Chardonnay

Woop Chard

Sourcing their Chardonnay grapes from the Adelaide Hills in the south-eastern part of Australia, co-owner and winemaker Ben Riggs along co-owner Tony Parkison make a well-balanced un-wooded wine that is rich, dry and fruity. The cool climate and soils allows for growing delicious white wines that are considered world-class by many. This wine is tank fermented and has little contact with the lee’s.

Ben Riggs is also the winemaker for The Chook, Mr. Riggs and Penny’s Hill wines.
This Chardonnay will pair well with many foods especially seafood and should retail for $15- $20.

Woop Woop is Australian slang for “the middle of nowhere”, so next time you find yourself there make sure you grab a bottle of Woop Woop Chardonnay.
