A new limited edition beer from Huss Brewing Co. gets its release on Sunday, October 1st and can only be found at The Phoenix Zoo. The Black-Footed Ferret IPA is part of the brewery’s Brewers Conservation Series that will benefit the animal that was thought to be extinct twice. The Phoenix Zoo is only one of six breeding facilities of the Black-Footed Ferret in the world and asked Huss to brew the beer as its one of the main local beers available at the zoo.

“Our goals with the Brewers Conservation Series of beers are to use the beer and the cans to highlight the conservation efforts of the Phoenix Zoo and to bring awareness to animals that are endangered,” said Huss founder Leah Huss. The unfiltered IPA will be available on tap at the zoo and can be purchased in the gift shop in 6 packs to-go until the end of January 2024.
