The team behind Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, The Rosticceria and The Sicilian Butcher are about to debut a new experience with their first event this Wednesday, February 28th. The Maggiore Group kicks of the “Chef Joey Craft Cocktail Club” with an Amaro Party host by Chef Joey Maggiore at The Rosticceria at 5:30 p.m. The first in a series of events, guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails and learning about apertifs and digestifs.

Guests attending the Amaro Party will enjoy four specially curated beverages including three 2 oz. cocktail tasters and the specialty 4 oz. cocktail of the month, all using amaro as an ingredient. The specialty cocktail is The Banano and features a tantalizing blend of Gin, Edmond Briottet Crème de Banane, Lemon, Amaro Nonino, finished with a delicate mist of absinthe. Guests will be served tasty bites from Chef Joey with each cocktail.

The evening will benefit the Tomaso Maggiore Culinary Arts Foundation set up by The Maggiore Group after the death of family patriarch and legendary Phoenix restaurateur and chef. TMCAF mission is to raise the level of professionalism and excellence in all aspects of culinary industry in the Valley through education, internships, externships and international immersion programs. They’ve partnered with esteemed institutions like the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program and Northern Arizona University, TMCAF aims to foster the growth of culinary professionals in the Phoenix market and beyond.
