Four Peaks Brewing to show off new beers at Oktoberfest

Downtown Tempe will again host its 51st annual Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake on Friday, October 11th- 13th. The 2024 Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest will take on a Bavarian flair with German food, live music on two stages, dancing and of course beer.

Guests 21 and over attending the all ages festival can anticipate tasting several new beers from the Tempe based brewer including Bad Birdie Juicy Golden Ale, Desert Daydream Imperial IPA, Desert Daydream Tropical IPA, and Desert Daydream Hazy IPA. Live music will include headliners Black Moods and Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers.

Other activities will include a local celebrity bratwurst eating contest, the popular wiener dog race, adult coed volleyball, kickball & soccer from Arizona Sports League and The Frank Kush Foundation Runnin’ for the Brats. The festival has been an annual fundraiser since 1970 benefiting Tempe Sister Cities with proceeds used to send Tempe High School students to its 9 sister cities around the world.

Doors open at 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest are $25 for General Admission on Friday and Saturday with Sunday admission free. 2nd annual Scottsdale Beer Palooza returns to Westworld June 20th

With Father’s Day just around the corner what better way to celebrate than with beer and with dad in mind Scottsdale Beer Palooza returns on Saturday, June 20th, the day before Father’s Day. Back at Westworld in Scottsdale after a successful 1st year you can buy dad tickets to attend or you can buy dad his favorite suds at the beer store.

This indoor and air conditioned event will include over 30 breweries including Rogue, Odell and New Belgium plus Arizona’s own Mudshark, Nimbus, San Tan and Four Peaks along with Venice Beach Brewing Co. where actor & brewer Kerr Smith(Dawson’s Creek & The Foster’s) will serve his beer and mix & mingle with festival attendees.

M Culinary Concepts will be on hand to sell beer friendly food and The Mustache Pretzel food truck will make an appearance. To burn off your food and beer there will be an adult play area with a life size foosball table along with movie clips with your favorite beer-y movies will be on the big screen for laughs and more entertainment will be available.

The event starts at 1 p.m. with VIP ticket holders access at 12 noon to taste special beers. Celebrate WOBtoberfest at World of Beer Tempe this Saturday October 12th

WOBtoberfestTime to bust out your favorite pair of lederhosen as we are smack dab in the middle of Octoberfest and there’s no better way to celebrate than with beers, Brats and beer maids. That and more are in store this Saturday, October 12th as World of Beer Tempe celebrates WOBtoberfest. Starting at 4 p.m. and going until closing at 2 a.m. Customer can enjoy 20 Oktoberfest and seasonal beers that include selections from Arizona breweries including SanTan Brewing, Four Peaks, Grand Canyon Brewing and Mudshark Brewing.

World’s Craft Beer Buyer, JP Watts said, “Our WOBtoberfest coincides with Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lakes so folks can hit us up on their way or come and chill out after their done. Either way, we’re planning a free festive event with bands, tavern fare and craft beer for all.”

Traditional Brats and Bavarian pretzels along with other tavern fare will be available to pair with your beers. Live entertainment starts at 4 p.m. with Catfish Mustache taking the stage followed by Pride Through Strife, Fred Green and DJ Hanzerelli going on every 2 hours.
