Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants closing their flagship location

The downtown Chandler location of the family owned restaurant will close permanently on June 1st. It’s the only location where the Serrano’s own the building (and their largest restaurant) and made a tough decision to sell the property. The influx of new restaurants in downtown Chandler has caused a decline in business which is why the decision was made. Employees will be offered the opportunity to work at the other locations in Mesa(2) and Queen Creek. They aren’t leaving Chandler completely as their headquartered nearby.
