The Downtown Mesa BBQ Classic starts today
Today and tomorrow brings out the best smoked meats with pitmasters vying for up to $10,000 in prize money. The Kansas City Barbecue Society has sanction the event and certified judges will pick the winners. More details and ticket information can be found in July’s feature post.
Lux Row Bourbon dinner at Phoenix City Grille November 10th
Whiskey aficionado John Christie emcees this reception and 5 course dinner next Friday at the Uptown Phoenix restaurant. Each course will be paired with whiskey including PCG’s own signature barrel blend and a single barrel blend collaboration with Star Liquors. Barro’s Pizza opens second Surprise location next week
The family owned & operated pizza restaurant opens in newest location next Monday, November 6th in the Fry’s shopping center on the NW corner of 163rd Ave. and Pat Tillman Blvd. The new restaurant will have a Chicago feel with wood and metal accents, an airy ambiance and will have 3 large screens TVs. The restaurant will be open 7 days a week starting at 10:30 a.m.
Kona Grill opens its newest restaurant at Desert Ridge Marketplace
The north Phoenix retail center is the home to the third valley location of the bar-centric concept that offers sushi, grilled dishes, specialty cocktails and more. The restaurant opens for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and happy hour is one of the best kept secrets in the Phoenix area with dishes priced at $3, $6 & $9.
