The Italian Daughter to celebrate the late Tomaso Maggiore

Melissa Maggiore, the daughter of the late restaurateur celebrates his birthday with a special menu featuring his favorite dishes. National Rum Day around Phoenix

Cool off next Wednesday, August 16th as Phoenix area Twin Peaks locations celebrate the white spirit made from sugar cane with a refreshing Mojito for $6.

Provision on 7th St. will be featuring 2 rum cocktails all day. The Jungle Bird and Rum Daquiri will transport you to the tropics without leaving Phoenix.

The Old Town Scottsdale Mexican restaurant showcases premium mezcals and tequilas on Thursday, August 31st. From 6:30 -9 p.m. sample the different reposados, anjeos & blancos from Tequlia Patron, Ilegal Mezcal and Celaya Tequila. Featured margaritas will be available for $10 and tickets for the evening are $20 at Eventbrite.

Arizona Restaurant Week quickly approaching

The 2023 Fall event returns for 10 days from Friday, September 8th – 17th. Over 150 restaurants around Arizona are expected to participate by creating special 3 course menus for $33, $44 or $55 for the twice yearly event. Starting August 21st menus will be available at the Arizona Restaurant Association’s website and reservations are highly suggested for the popular event.
