OverEasy launches 2 new menu items inspired by JohnJay & Blake Van Es
The 11 locations of the breakfast and lunch restaurant are adding 2 new dishes to the menu tomorrow, Saturday, July 7th. $1 from each of the new dishes will be donated to #LOVEPUP Foundation and will be available until the end of September. The dishes going head to head are……
JohnJay’s Sweet Hash – 2 over easy eggs on top of roasted sweet potatoes, with charred onions, mushrooms, broccolini, shredded cheese and dill hollandaise sauce.
Blake’s Shortcake – 2 house biscuits and fresh strawberry compote over top tangy whipped lemon ricotta with sweet vanilla custard glaze and chia seeds.
Angry Crab Shack’s “You Dine, We Donate” to benefit homeless veterans
Throughout July all 16 Arizona locations will donate $.25 per customer to Arizona Housing Coalition’s Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance. Guests can donate an extra $1 when they order select drinks from beverage sponsors, snow crab and clam strip baskets. Money raised will help fund clothing, hot meals, haircuts, hygiene kits and more for unhoused veterans and their families.
The restaurant has raised money for various community programs in the seven years since it started the “You Dine, We Donate” promotion and they hope to raise $100,000 this year.
“Christmas in July” fundraiser at Organ Stop Pizza
Cool off inside and donate to the United Food Bank July Food drive Challenge at the Mesa pizza restaurant until July 31st. Bring in at least two approved non-perishable food items or donate $2.00 to get 10% off that evenings food order. The most needed items are cash donations, canned meats, canned fruits & vegetables, peanut butter, low sugar whole grain cereal, soups, stews, chili, beans, canned or dried milk, rice & pasta. No glass jars, baby food or opened foods.
Each evening one lucky guest will win a stocking filled with OSP goodies and Santa & Mrs. Claus will visit Saturdays and Sundays through July.
Italian Wine Tasting at GenuWine Arizona
If you’re not headed to Italy this summer you can still taste world class Italian wines at the downtown Phoenix wine bar. Thursday, July 13th from 6-8 p.m. taste and learn about 4 Italian wines. Thai Chili 2 Go opens newest location
The quick casual restaurant offering authentic Thai cuisine opened it newest location this week in Maricopa. Guests can enjoy traditional entrees or customize their orders with vegan, gluten – free and vegetarian options and increase or decrease the heat spice. Guests can order their app or in person dine-in, take-out and delivery from DoorDash.
