Locally owned Simple Machine Brewing and Spinato’s Pizzeria are collaborating on a beer and pizza pairing with influencer Wizard of Za starting Friday, September 1st. The ” WOZ Inspired Artichoke Dip Pizza” and the “Simple Magic” American style Pale Ale will make its debut at a Happy Hour Launch Party on the 1st at the Spinato’s Central Phoenix location and will be available at all 6 locations until the end of October. It’s the second collaboration with Spinato’s, Wizard of Za and a local brewer.
“We had so much fun with Steven last year, we decided to make this an annual event,” Spinato said. “The Wizard of Za is well-known as a go-to-guide for the best local pizza and beer experiences in Arizona. We’re excited to introduce our newest Za collaboration along with a special beer made to complement the flavors by one of our favorite local breweries, Simple Machine,” he said.
Simple Magic and WOZ Inspired Artichoke Dip Pizza
The “WOZ-Inspired Artichoke Dip Pizza” has a pesto cream base, with spinach, secret spice, mushrooms, dollops of Spinato’s signature artichoke dip and mozzarella. “Simple Magic” American style pale ale was brewed specifically to be bright, floral, and earthy, with unique inspiration from white wine. The light styled & crisp pale was created from scratch with WOZ and Spinato’s and can be paired with almost any food. The pizza comes in several sizes including personal $11.60; small $17.60; medium $23.50; and large $29.50. A gluten-free option is available in one size for $17. A pint of the special Simple Machine craft beer is $8.
The Happy Hour Launch Party goes from 4- 6 p.m. and will feature raffles, giveaways and of course pizza. Guests can meet and speak with Steve Larson a.k.a. The Wizard of Za, the brewers from Simple Machine Brewing and the Spinato family. Special collaborative glassware will be given away while supplies last. Spinato’s Central Phoenix location is at 5509 N. 7th St. For more information visit Spinato’s website.
