Anhelo owner & Chef Ivan Jocobo will be debuting the “little sister” to his downtown Phoenix fine dining restaurant in Tempe in the next couple of weeks. Flour & Thyme will be an upscale dining spot on Mill Ave. serving coffee, pastries and lunch at first and adding breakfast and dinner in February. “I live in Tempe and I want to show our neighbors that there are truly incredible dining options here,” says Jacobo. “I want Flour & Thyme to be a place where I want to eat, here in my own city.”
Like its “big sister” the new restaurant will have an excellent wine program with both high quality and value wines in addition to fresh specialty cocktails. The unique cocktails will change with the seasons similar the way the menu will. The menu will offer dishes from the land, sea and garden and may intertwine with Anhelo’s for specials. Signature dishes include foie gras, tuna tartare, dry aged duck pasta and a dry aged burger and the menu will include vegetarian dishes and a la carte options.
Diners can expect a down to earth dining experience at Flour & Thyme with high quality dishes and service in the dining room or for private dining experiences. “We are extremely proud of the dining program at Anhelo and want to give our Tempe neighbors a taste of that,” says Jacobo. “Everything we do at Anhelo will correlate at Flour & Thyme in a fun new way.”
Flour & Thyme will be at 944. S. Mill Ave. Tempe 85281. For updates you can follow the restaurant on Instagram.
