Downtown Phoenix’s cocktail bar Little Rituals is the most awarded hotel bar in Arizona and can add a new award to its resume. The bar inside the Residence Inn/Courtyard by Marriott was recently named “Top 4 of Best U.S. Hotel Bars” of the Spirited Awards at Tales of the Cocktail and with that will continue to attract guests from around Arizona and the world. Co-owner Aaron DeFeo knew it was time to take the bar to the next level and helped curate a new cocktail menu adding 10 new cocktails.
Defeo and his team of mixologists undertook the most extensive overhaul of the menu since Little Rituals opened in February 2019. New cocktails include spirits & ingredients never before used such as Irish whiskey, Vidalia onions and barley tea. The menu also includes 5 styles of cocktails, the most ever including classic, refreshing, stirred, indulgent and exotic. Focusing on sustainable practices and cutting edge techniques the new menu steps “boldly into the future”
“Our focus has always been on crafting a balanced and delicious experience for our guests. While we pride ourselves on our creative and consistent approach to bartending, we have been enjoying experimenting with luxury cocktails, made with rare and unusual ingredients.” says Aaron DeFeo. “We think people gravitate to us because while they can enjoy their favorites on the menu, we keep pushing the boundaries with presentation and technique.” DeFeo and his team are always experimenting taking months to create their memorable cocktails.
New cocktails include……
The Mr. Hollywood features Remy Martin cognac and Taittinger Champagne, with a garnish of a crisp house potato chip, topped with caviar and creme fraiche.
Swipe Right, a complex cocktail which plays with notes of velvety whiskey and stone fruit, resulting in an aromatic and floral flavor profile, with a bite of wine acidity from red verjus and raspberry honey. Other cocktails include the Watermelon Sundae and Forbidden Love.
Guests first will experience the thoughtfully illustrated menu while choosing a cocktail in complimenting glassware and with edible garnishes, all which were selected by the Little Rituals team. The bar has also been raised on the chef- crafted bar bites menu to include Hurricane Frites, legendary Pho French Dip and the sweet and decadent Plum Crumble.
