5th and Wine celebrates Scottsdazzle 2016 with Sugar Plum Fairy Tea

Now that the 2016 holiday season is in full swing you’ll have plenty of opportunities to celebrate all month-long around town. One of those opportunities will be on Sunday Dec. 11th at 5th and Wine in downtown Scottsdale as they host a “Sugar Plum Fairy Tea”. The tea is part of the month-long celebration “Scottsdazzle” which kicked off last Friday with a tree lighting ceremony.

Celebrate the festive atmosphere by dressing as a princess or fairy (not required), guests will enjoy tea sandwiches, bruschetta, Caesar salad and truffles and cookies for dessert. Tea and hot chocolate will be served and for those 21+ Mimosas will be available.

Beaujolais producer Chateau des Jacques wine dinner hosted by J & G Steakhouse

One of the most food friendly wines of the autumn season is the Gamay grape from Beaujolais. The medium bodied, rustic and elegant wines of Chateau des Jacques, one of the prestigious estates in Beaujolais, will be paired alongside a 5- course French inspired meal prepared by J & G Steakhouse executive chef Jacques Qualin on Tuesday, Dec. 6th. at 6:00pm.

Christmas Tree Lighting, Soleri Bridge: 5:30 p.m., November 25, sweet treats and cocoa will be offered, live music and more! Mayor Jim Lane and members of the Scottsdale City Council will be on hand to light the one-of-a kind to Arizona tree, imported from Italy. The tree boasts over one million customizable lighting options and will glow nightly on the Soleri Bridge.
