As downtown Phoenix quickly transforms from live, work &  play  neighborhood to more of a live, work, play ,eat & drink destination,  many business’s see the opportunity. The Park Street Food Bar & Beer Garden on S. 2nd St. which opened as an indoor beer garden and has become a community gathering place.

To bring the diverse community of office workers, residents, artists and others even closer The Park is playing host to daily(Happy Hour), weekly and monthly events in September & October.

The Park Bar is celebrating National Taco Day on Wednesday, October 4 with $1 beef street tacos all day long!

Dueling Piano Night Oct. 14

There is no cover on Saturday, the 14th and 2-for-1 entrees will be available. To RSVP, text “PIANO” to 48421. The dueling starts at 7p.m.

Phoenix Suns Opening Party

The Phoenix Suns opening party is coming to The Park Bar on Wednesday, October 18 & Friday, October 20. Coors Light specials and giveaways will be available, including 28 tap self-serve indoor craft beer garden, Coors girls, Ping-Pong and shuffleboard arcades and a 17-foot LED screen.

Outta The Park Comedy Night, Oct. 21

Saturday, October 21 is Outta the Park Comedy Night with Anwar Newton! The event is presented by NAG Comedy and The Park Bar, hosted by Nick Giasullo and features Mike Enders. 2-for-1 entrees are available with RSVP. Text “COMEDY” to 49421 to fill out the RSVP form.  Starts at 8:00 p.m.

Parktoberfest, Oct. 27 

Leinenkugels presents Parktoberfest on Friday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m. with a celebration of beer, food and music. The event will feature traditional beer and food samples, bar games and giveaways, live bands and DJs, the Leinenkugels ladies and a $200 stein hoisting contest.

Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers and Reel Big Fish to play at SanTan Brewing’s Oktoberfest

Beer and music go hand in hand and SanTan Brewing Company is well a where of that. It is for that reason SanTan is celebrating their 9th anniversary and Oktoberfest with bands Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers and Reel Big Fish on Saturday October 1st in downtown Chandler.

When the gates open at 3pm festival goers will be treated to Ken Levine’s Funkhaus Brass Band followed by games that include beer pong, a pretzel toss, tricycle races, Brat eating contest and a wiener dog race. SanTan will be pouring their core beers along with their Bavarian style Oktoberfest lager and food will be available from Gorilla Cheese Truck, Honey Bear’s BBQ, Beignet Babes and more.

When the sun goes down is when Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers hit the stage at 7:10 pm followed by Reel Big Fish at 9:30 to close out the festival.

Celebrate WOBtoberfest at World of Beer Tempe this Saturday October 12th

WOBtoberfestTime to bust out your favorite pair of lederhosen as we are smack dab in the middle of Octoberfest and there’s no better way to celebrate than with beers, Brats and beer maids. That and more are in store this Saturday, October 12th as World of Beer Tempe celebrates WOBtoberfest. Starting at 4 p.m. and going until closing at 2 a.m. Customer can enjoy 20 Oktoberfest and seasonal beers that include selections from Arizona breweries including SanTan Brewing, Four Peaks, Grand Canyon Brewing and Mudshark Brewing.

World’s Craft Beer Buyer, JP Watts said, “Our WOBtoberfest coincides with Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lakes so folks can hit us up on their way or come and chill out after their done. Either way, we’re planning a free festive event with bands, tavern fare and craft beer for all.”

Traditional Brats and Bavarian pretzels along with other tavern fare will be available to pair with your beers. Live entertainment starts at 4 p.m. with Catfish Mustache taking the stage followed by Pride Through Strife, Fred Green and DJ Hanzerelli going on every 2 hours.

san tan octoberfestDowntown Chandler becomes Munich, Germany on Saturday Oktober 5th as Basha’s and SanTan Brewing Company celebrate Okoberfest with beer gardens, food, live music and more. Starting at 4:00 p.m. with Bad Cactus Brass Band taking the stage and continuing til 12 midnight attendees will be entertained with tricycle riding, German food, beer games and a Brat eating contest along with atradidional beer garden serving SanTan Brewing’s Oktoberfest brew, a German style lager, along with other seasonal & core SanTan brews.

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Tom’s Thumb Fresh Market with BBQ and beer from Grand Canyon Brewing Co.

Leafs turning colors, football and baseballs playoffs in full swing are just some of the things that happen in the month of October. It’s also Oktoberfest when beer is on the brain and Tom’s Thumb Fresh Market www.TomsThumbFreshMarket.com is celebrating with its 1st beer dinner on October 18th. This 4 course dinner pairs Chef Trudie’s BBQ with beers from Grand Canyon Brewing Co. The dinner is part Tom’s “101 & Bell” classes. Brian Udvardi from World Class Beverages will be on hand to discuss the beers. Guests will enjoy a four-course meal from 6:30 – 8pm. Cost for dinner is $36 per person.
